On August 30-31, 2023, the sixth Summer Academy "Energy Management" was held, in which Tilcom took part as a sponsor and supported the initiative, providing free access to students, PhD students and young professionals from various energy companies.

The event was a success and attracted the interest of 42 young people who want to develop themselves in the energy sector. Once again it was held jointly by the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and "Utilities" magazine. The aim of the summer school is to provide the participants with quality postgraduate training through up-to-date information on theory, practice and trends in the energy sector. At the end, all participants will also receive a certificate of successful completion of training.

Topics of public interest were discussed, including "Development of the electricity market in Bulgaria", "Prospects for nuclear energy", "Energy transition to renewable energy and the role of technology".

Tilcom has supported the "Energy Management" Academy because it believes that joint efforts and combining theory with practice will lead to higher quality education and a wider interest of young people in the industry.
