I. PLC Automation

1. AC 500 - powerful PLC featuring a wide range of performance, communications and I/O capabilities for industrial applications. E) Control Panels CP600-eCo - control panels in three different screen sizes from 4.3" to 10.1" which provide HMI functions typically required for basic applications.

II. Low voltage products and systems
ABB provides a full range of low voltage solutions to connect, protect, control and measure a wide range of electrical installations, enclosures, switchboards, electronics and electromechanical devices. The business improves the reliability and efficiency of its customers’ activities across all major industries including the residential sector.
1. Arc Guard System™ TVOC-2 - increased safety to personnel and equipment; minimizes downtime after an arc accident; no calibration needed; ensures reliable function and quick installation; can easily be expanded with up to 30 sensors to increase cabinet coverage from a single TVOC-2.
2. Circuit breakers - high performances are always guaranteed by offering a unique user experience between molded case circuit breakers and air circuit breakers, from 160 to 6300A.
A) SACE Emax 2 - embeds more and more functionalities to become the all-in-one solution able to manage the low-voltage distribution systems. Perfect integration into all automation and energy management systems thanks to the eight communication protocols supported. Four sizes available, ensuring high performances in compact dimensions.
B) SACE Tmax XT - designed to maximize ease of use, integration and connectivity while reliably delivering safety and quality. Rather than just offering standalone protection, they are seen as key elements of the system that give you complete flexibility, extreme breaking capabilities and reliable performance under pressure.
C) Ekip UP - low-voltage digital unit able to monitor, protect and control the next generation of plants. A unit suitable for all the different applications including all the needed functionalities without the need of additional external devices.
3. Low voltage switchgear and motor control centers
A) NeoGear™ - ready to help customers across process industries to manage changing external dynamics and realize new opportunities in their working environments. Laminated bus plate technology, which replaces traditional horizontal and vertical busbar systems. Withdrawable and plug in functional units for motor protection or energy distribution.
B) MNS® Compact - integrates the XT range of molded circuit breakers to provide a high-density solution of up to 36 power circuits per section. The space-saving design enables a footprint reduction of up to 65% compared to standard type switchgear configurations. Enhanced thermal performance through optimized module configuration.
C) MNS® Fixed - offers space-saving design that enables a footprint reduction of up to 25% compared to other MNS designs, by maximum utilization of each section height, application of the combined cable compartment; where two outgoing sections share the same cable compartment and the option to reduce the width of the outgoing functional units. Rigorous testing has been conducted to ensure safety, availability and reliability.
4. Switches - designed for flexibility and reliable performance in a wide variety of applications: power distribution for residential and industrial buildings, HVAC, water pumping stations, data centers and photovoltaic installations.
A) Switch-disconnectors 16 to 4000 Amperes - designed, built and tested for the best possible performance. They are designed to be virtually maintenance-free across their entire extended lifespan and offer reliable performance in any and all possible circumstances.
B) Motorized switch-disconnectors from 40 to 4000 Amperes - equipped with a wide range of safety features, such as IP20 protected finger proof installations. All of the contacts are clearly visible, which makes for clear and reliable position indication. Also, all of the motorized switch-disconnectors are equipped with a handle for manual operation in emergency situations.
C) Motorized transfer switches - equipped with a cover with clear operating instructions and improved motor operator performance.
D) Manual operated bypass switches - the best solution for load bypassing when the installation space is very limited. The switches are manually operated and the range goes from 160 to 800 Amperes (IEC).
III. Medium Voltage products and systems
ABB provides a full range of medium voltage solutions for the utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, reliable and smart technologies for the distribution of electricity.
1. Switchgear - Medium Voltage
A) Motor control centers - motor control up to 12 kV 50 kA designed to be directly coupled with ABB switchgear, with the possibility of extension on both sides of a switchboard.
B) Air insulated switchgear - for utility and industry, covering also highly demanding applications, such as data centers, oil and gas, mining, marine and nuclear power. A wide choice of products designed as per IEC, ANSI, CSA, ENA, GB, GOST and other standards.
C) AC and DC traction power supply - proven air insulated and gas insulated railway switchgear and metal-enclosed DC switchgear and traction power supply solutions for railways.
2. Apparatus
A) Indoor switches and disconnectors
- ANSI indoor air-insulated load break switch VersaRupter - safe and reliable solution for short circuit currents interruptions; easy application in wide range of configurations; efficient solution for transformers protection.
- IEC indoor gas switch-disconnector GSec - tested for use at low temperatures and type-approved for naval applications; reliable mechanical position indicator; smart grid and network automation ready.
- IEC indoor earthing switch EK6 - designed to conduct the rated short-circuit current when closed under load; suitable for compact, wall mounted applications; high mechanical endurance.
- IEC indoor disconnector OW - simple and reliable design make them excellent for majority of operating conditions; visible position of knives; visible insulating gap.

B) Instrument transformers and sensors
- Indoor current sensor KECA 80 C85 - intended for use in current measurement in gas insulated medium voltage switchgear. The design of the current sensor has been optimized to be easily assembled on the shielded cable T-connectors and therefore makes the sensor suitable for retrofit purposes.
- Indoor voltage sensors KEVA A - based on a resistive divider. This sensor is non-saturable and linear over the whole measuring range. The output signal is a voltage, which is proportional to the primary voltage.
- ANSI instrument transformers for outdoor application - encapsulated in hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy (HCEP) using the automatic pressure gelation (APG) process.
- IEC instrument transformers for outdoor application - designed for maximum insulation voltage up to 40.5 kV. The basic construction part of the transformer is the epoxy body, the primary winding, secondary winding and the magnetic circuit. The transformers may be installed in any position inside the switchboard.
C) Contactors - suitable for controlling electrical loads in many segments such as industry, service sector, marine sector, etc. Thanks to the breaking technique with vacuum interrupters, they can operate in particularly difficult environments.
- IEC indoor vacuum contactor VSC - they are suitable for the control and protection of motors, transformers, power factor correction banks, switching systems, etc.
- IEC indoor vacuum contactor ConVac - suitable to switch motors and to control electrical circuits, for a wide variety of applications where high number of operations are required. They are suitable to operate motors, transformers, capacitor banks and fitted with proper fuses, for circuits with fault levels up to 50kA.
